How does the workflow engine handle approvers who are out of office?
Flowtaris integrates with Google Calendar and Microsoft Exchange to detect OOO status in real time. When a primary approver is unavailable, the workflow automatically routes to their designated delegate — or, if none is configured, escalates up the reporting chain based on your org hierarchy. You can also set maximum escalation time thresholds to prevent documents from sitting unreviewed.
Can we migrate our existing Coupa or NetSuite approval workflows into Flowtaris?
Yes — and we automate most of the migration. Flowtaris connects to your existing ERP workflow configuration and uses an AI migration assistant to map your current approval rules into Flowtaris workflow templates. What happens if the Flowtaris system goes down? Will approvals stop?
Flowtaris runs on a 99.97% SLA with active-active multi-region deployment. In the extremely rare event of a service interruption, all in-flight workflows are stored durably and resume from their last checkpoint when service is restored. We also support a "fallback mode" where critical pending approvals are surfaced via direct email with a lightweight approval link that works without the Flowtaris platform.

Flowtaris enforces spend authority limits configured per role, cost center, and department — pulled directly from your ERP's approval matrix if available.
